This Old World wax is designed to crack and break—perfect for traditional sealing, gift wrap, certificates, or decorative use. It is not suitable for mailing. For postal use, we recommend the J. Herbin Supple Wax line.
Please note: Due to the fragile nature of this wax, batons may arrive with cracks or breakage. This does not affect usability—small pieces can be easily melted in a spoon.
Since 1670, J. Herbin has produced some of the world’s finest sealing waxes. Used by figures from Louis XIV to Coco Chanel, this traditional formula remains unchanged for centuries.
J. Herbin’s wax has been trusted for correspondence, decoration, and even bottling. Chanel has used Herbin wax since its founding to seal perfume bottles with an elegant finish.
J. Herbin Cire Banque is considered the standard in sealing wax—cherished worldwide for its quality and timeless appeal.
