Standard Sealing Wax Gun | Low Temperature

Regular price$ 14.00

Our Sealing Wax Gun is a standard, full sized, low temperature glue gun used with our waxes labeled as Glue Gun Waxes and Faux Sealing wax.

Production times for glue gun methods are almost ten times
faster than traditional wick wax methods.

The exact placement of your melted wax creates perfect seals time after time.

The glue gun will require at least two sticks of wax at a time, as the entering stick pushes the melting stick through.

North American Voltage
250F. (121C.)
40 Watts, 120 Volts

This sized glue gun will accept 7/16" diameter sticks (not "mini" sticks).

☛ Please note: changing wax colors with a glue gun takes a bit of wax to complete, as a color cannot be removed once advanced into the glue gun.
The wax will melt into a pooling chamber within the gun, and new colors will mix with the old, until enough new wax can be run through to clear the color.

➢ This can create some fun combinations if you plan out your colors!

➢ If it is important for colors to not mix, you may wish to consider:
- Dedicating one glue gun to one color.
- Cutting pieces of lesser used colors to melt in our melting spoon.
- Using the glue gun wax as a wickless sealing wax and melting near a flame.

If the sealing wax is not given time to melt during use, the pressure of the advancing stick into the melting chamber could potentially force hot melting wax back up along the stick and out of the trigger area of the gun.
This is not a defect of the glue gun.
Pulling the stick back a bit to relieve the pressure, and allowing the wax time to melt will prevent further "backflow", and the cooled wax around the collar can be removed with a little attention - this should not interfere with further use.

Works great and making these little seals is addictive!

Making wax seals with this gun is really fun and strangely addictive. I’ve always been fascinated with hot glue as a medium and using it as wax for sealing is genius. Love this. Standard Sealing Wax Gun | Low Temperature Standard Sealing Wax Gun | Low Temperature Review

A seal of approval

I love the wax seal kit, and the advice/video about how to make them was incredibly helpful—especially because I had to make so many. It truly helped me create a vintage/antique letter to accompany my mailings of my revolutionary war novel. Quality is poor . . .

The stamp functions as intended. The quality of the engraving on the stamp is pitiful. If allowed, I’d send a picture of the poor quality of the letter “S”. Apparently, either the individual making stamp from the brass ‘blank’ . . . was nervous . . . or whatever? It is such poor quality, I’ve decided to purchase another “S” stamp from a competitor.
