J.Herbin French "Cire Souple" Supple Sealing Wax

I use sealing wax in all of my personal correspondence. I didn't care for the wax with the wick, and using a bowl wasn't my thing.

I searched and found these sealing waxes. I eagerly ordered. My order arrived more quickly than I expected.

I immediately put the wax to use. It worked better than the other options, and sealed my letters perfectly. (It sure helps that the company sends a brochure to tell one how to use items they sell.)

Glad I bought the wax and I like how Letter Seals sells such a large selection. I am a customer for life.

I like the color and the packaging. Over all realy good. It takes a little longer to dry than others maybe but its worth the wait for the beauty wine color

I've been using J. Herbin supple wax for a few years now. It holds up well when going through the postal system. I always use it when sending things via the mail system. I love the product. I can't wait to try the pearlescent supple wax. It should add even more beauty to my greeting cards. Lastly, I have just discovered Letter Seals online store, and I had the best experience! They were on vacation. There was a notice that my order would not ship until the new year, but, they shipped it within a day of my ordering it. I received the package really fast and there were zero issues or delays. I even got a very nice welcome email from the shop owner. I will definitely shop again when I need more wax.

My initial custom stamp was accidentally engraved backwards. I reached out and they replied VERY quickly and sent a replacement as soon as possible. Look, these are wax seals and stamps - not a matter of life and death, but they handled the matter in very meaningful and dedicated manner. That says a lot about a company.

The LetterSeals website is tastefully laid out and fairly easy to navigate. I ordered 2 types of wax: J.Herbin French "Cire Souple” and Waterston Scottish. I am very pleased with the easy ordering process and beautifully and securely packaged goods complete with LetterSeals’ own seal, that arrived safely. The package included tips on how to use each type of wax and a mini-lollipop. I immediately tested all 3 waxes and appreciate the way they dripped when warmed, and the finished look after I stamped them with my seals. I had never used a flexible wax before—J.Herbin French "Cire Souple" Supple Sealing Wax bends instead of cracking when an envelope is opened, so I would not use it for important documents or confidential letters. All my previous sealing waxes have been about 4” long. Imagine my surprise at the 9’ of Waterston Scottish wickless wax! They are heavier and require a different grip, but worked well. The colors on all 3 waxes I purchased are very rich: red, burgundy, the gold melts into a silvery gold color. These waxes inspire me to send more of my hand-drawn cards and notecards to family and friends. I bought the 4 pack of wax colors in burgundy. I really enjoyed using this wax. I did notice that the wax is sticky or somewhat tacky for a bit of a longer period than other cheaper wax I have used. This is just something to be aware of. My seal also noticeably had gotten stuck in the wax. I could have avoided this by cooling off my seal before stamping. The color of the J Herbin wax was beautiful. I will definitely try other colors of this brand of wax.

I love this wax! I use a spoon over a flame. The wax is flexible for mailing with the look of old wax. Beautiful!

I had quick delivery and as promised. An enclosed note and a seal on the front was warm and personal. I am having a problem with my stamp sticking but am beginning to think my stamp may be a bit worn. I will cool the stamp next time. Wonderful company and I will reorder from this site when due.

these are a gift. i am familiar with the great quality of herbin seal wax and would recommend this wax to anyone.

The wax hardens with a pleasing satin finish and takes a razor sharp image from the stone seal I used. It has good adhesion on paper but I have not tried it on genuine animal skin velum as yet. I have trusted one sealed letter to the tender mercies of my local postal service so far and I am glad to report that the seal survived quite unscathed. Your service was very prompt and the packaging made me feel it was my birthday again although my grand daughter demolished all the little bear sweets before I even got a look in.
