Our Sealing Wax Gun is a mini-sized, low-temperature glue gun, perfectly designed for use with our Mini Glue Gun Waxes.

We understand that safety is key when working with electric heating tools, which is why we selected a UL Certified glue gun. It’s designed to give you peace of mind so you can create with confidence. While it might not win any beauty contests, this glue gun is all about getting the job done right.

One of the great benefits of using a glue gun for your wax seals is the efficiency—production times are nearly ten times faster than with traditional wick wax methods. Plus, the precise application of melted wax ensures perfect seals every time.

For best results, the glue gun requires at least two sticks of wax at a time, as the entering stick helps push the melting stick through.

Our glue gun is:

  • designed for North American voltage
  • operating at 250°F (121°C)
  • 40 watts and 120 volts.
  • compatible with 0.31" diameter sticks (not large/standard sticks)
  • UL certified

☛  Quick Tip: When switching wax colors with your glue gun, it may take a bit of wax to fully transition. The wax melts into a pooling chamber inside the gun, so new colors will mix with the old until enough fresh wax runs through to clear the previous shade.

🎨 But, this can lead to some really fun color combos if you plan it out!

💡 If you need to keep colors pure, here are some options:

  • Dedicate one glue gun to a single color.
  • Cut smaller pieces of less-used colors to melt in our melting spoon.
  • Or, use the glue gun wax as wickless sealing wax and melt it near a flame.

PLEASE NOTE:

When using a glue gun (or a wax gun), it doesn’t have an on/off valve inside the nozzle. Instead, the stick of wax is pushed forward, and as the back of the stick stays solid, it presses on the softened material in front. That pressure naturally squeezes some melted wax out of the tip, a little like squeezing toothpaste from a tube.

Even after you stop pulling the trigger, the material in the heating chamber is still softening from the heat. As it melts, it expands slightly and adds to that gentle pressure. That’s why you may see a slow drip — it’s not a “leak” from a faulty seal, but just the natural way a heated stick-fed tool works.
