Stuart Houghton Boxed Initial Set
The Stuart Houghton Sealing Wax & Seals line was
originally created in 1845 by George Tibbins of Birmingham, Great Britain. The line is now being produced under the new name of Manuscript, and is the same as we have always carried under the name of Stuart Houghton. The ornate styling of these brass faced initials
makes this seal set a perennial favorite for every occasion,
from wedding invitations & groomsmen gifts,
to office holidays and house warming gifts.
This Boxed Set includes:
one 3/4" diameter seal with attached blue porcelain handle or finished terra cotta handle
and one red 4" stick of Stuart Houghton Sealing Wax.
This blue handle line is no longer in production!
We are very lucky to have the remaining US stock in hand.
Terra Cotta handles are packaged in the window box sets pictured, while the blue handles are in the solid boxes. When the blue handle seals sell out, we will not be able to obtain further stock.

We must address risks of burns with the use of sealing wax and the tools used to melt it.
Melted wax & faux wax is very hot, and will burn skin if touched or dripped on.
The items we sell to heat wax will get hot, and can burn.
Wax candles and our alcohol burner utilize flame to melt wax.
Please exercise common sense, child and fire safety when employing use of heating products & flame.
(Keep some ice on hand to quickly aid in the event of burn).
